MAR #2: VITAL RECORDS OF ROXBURY, 2 vols. (Salem, MA, 1925-26), 2:379 (FHL #974.46/R2 V2r). The wife is called "Jane Greene" on the mar rec. It is believed that she was the widow John Green, who died at Roxbury before 14 Feb 1638/9. See John Insley Coddington, "The Stebbing Family of Co. Essex, England...," TAG, 31(1955):198-99 (FHL #973 D25aga).
DEATH: No death rec found. See the inv of estate of Martin Stebbins [of Boston], 23 Nov 1659, Suffolk Co. Probate, #223, (o.s.) 3:165-66 (FHL #584127). This document does not include Martin's place of residence, but Jane, Martin's wife, died in Boston, 24 Jul 1659. It is presumed that Martin resided in Boston and died there.
