- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Benjamin received land in Windsor, Connecticut on his father's right, 10 Oct 1646, with other children of Thomas Newberry (Windsor Deeds, 1:6 [FHL #006188]). He is also identified in the will of his grandfather, Christopher Dabinot of Upway, Dorset, 1 July 1637, proved 4 Aug 1637, P.C.C., 113 Goare (FHL #092138). On 23 Apr 1662 Benjamin made claim to lands of his father, Thomas Newberry, deceased (Suffolk Co., Massachusetts Deeds, 3:525 [FHL #493932]).
