- BIRTH: South Kingstown Town Council & Probate, 1:2:15 (FHL #931833). The birth is also recorded in North Kingstown Vital Records (partly illegible), 1:23 (FHL #930980). The birth no doubt occurred in Kingstown, which became extinct with the creation of North and South Kingstown in 1722/3.
MAR: No mar rec found. Widow Avis Barber administered the estate of Thomas Barber of Exeter, below. Identification of wife as Avis "Tanner" with mar date and place is found in Lois J. (Barber) Schroeder, MOSES BARBER OF SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RHODE ISLAND (Decorah, IA, 1984), 385 (FHL #929.273 B233s). Schroeder cites "OLD NEWPORT MERCURY, MARRIAGES & DEATHS, 1900-1902."
