      DEATH: No death/bur rec found. He is probably the Rev. Josias Clark, Vicar of Broxbourne, who signed the parish register on 17 Aug 1688. He may probably have died in 1691 when Phineas Rothurst became vicar (Broxbournepar reg [FHL #991369]).

Josiah was rector of Tattershall, Cheshire, 1658; chaplain of the fort at New York; settled in Boston and was assistant minister at King's Chapel, 1686-87; vicar of Broxbourne, Herts, 1688.
