MAR #2: No mar rec found. She is called "Sarah Brewster alias Sarah Parkes" in deed from sons Nathaniel, William, and Wrastleing Brewster to Gyles Slocum, 15 Oct 1669 (Plymouth Colony Deeds, 3:1:196 [FHL #567789]). She was no doubt the wife of Richard Parke of Cambridge, whose widow Sarah petitioned the Middlesex court for probate of his will in Oct 1666 (Middlesex County Misc. Court Records, box 1666-67 [FHL #385974]). Also see the will of Richard Parke of Cambridge, 12 July 1665, no probate act, inv 19 Oct 1665, Middlesex Co. Probate Files, 1st series, #16442 (FHL #421480). The will mentions a wife but does not name her. Sarah was of Duxbury on 26 Sep 1678 when she signed a release to son Thomas Parke as "relict of Richard Parke, late of Camb. Village" (Francis Jackson, HISTORY OF NEWTOWN, MASS. [Boston, 1854], 382-83 [FHL #974.44/N1 D2j]). Sarah's mar to Parke was after 1 Sep 1656, when she is called Sarah Brewster, widow of Duxbury, by her brother-in-law (Plymouth Colony Deeds, 2:1:193 [FHL #567789]).
DEATH: PLYMOUTH CHURCH RECORDS, 1620-1859, 2 vols. (Boston, 1920-23), 1:271 (FHL #974.482/P3 K2p). Aged 76 yrs.
