Snow, ed, BIRTHS, MARRIAGES AND DEATHS RECORDED IN PROVIDENCE [Providence, 1879], 1 [FHL #974.52 V2p]). She is called Ruth Ellis, sister of his first wife, in Andrew N. Adams, A GENEALOGICAL HISTORY OF HENRY ADAMS (Rutland, VT, 1898), 501 (FHL #381788). No proof is found in original source records. Also see the will of Henry Adams, below, which mentions children born in Providence.
