- BIRTH: John Adams was administrator of the estate of his, father Henry Adams of Barton St. David, 12 Aug 1596, Diocesan Registry of Bath and Wells, cited in J. Gardner Bartlett, HENRY ADAMS OF SOMERSETSHIRE (New York, 1927), 37 (FHL #929. 273 Ad17bj). Original recs of this court were destroyed in 1942.
MAR: No mar rec found. A wife Agnes is mentioned in John's will, below. She may have been the dau of John and Agnes Stone. On 27 May 1597, John Adams became bondsman for Agnes Stone, widow of John Stone, and executrix of his will (Ibid, 38).
