- BIRTH: Nathaniel B. Shurtleff and David Pulsifer, eds, RECORDS OF THE COLONY OF NEW PLYMOUTH, 12 vols. (Boston, 1855-61), 8:13-14 (FHL #974.4N2n). Although this rec suggests that Joseph's children were born in Sandwich, it is unlikely, as Joseph was in Duxbury from at least 1633 to 1646 (Shurtleff, RECORDS OF THE COLONY OF NEW PLYMOUTH, 1:31, 39, 141; 12:136). Furthermore, the chr of Thomas at Scituate, below, calls him a son of "Goodman Rogers of Duxberry."
