MAR: No mar rec found. Adm of estate of Thomas Derby, below, shows that his wife Ann married 2nd to John Clark. Chancery suit, John Clarke of Axminster v. Tristram Hooper, et al, 30 Nov 1650, shows that John Clarke's wife was a dau of Henry Thomas (Chancery Proceedings before 1714, 119/37, cited in G. Andrews Moriarty, "Genealogical Research in England-Derby," NEHGR, 79[1925]:421 [FHL #974 B2ne]). Hence, Thomas Derby married Ann Thomas, daughter of Henry.
