- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Rebecca is identified in the will of her father, William Symonds of Exeter, 20 Feb 1633/4, proved 20 Feb 1634/5, P.C.C., Sadler (FHL #092131). Date and place of birth are approximations.

DEATH: No death/bur rec found. Although Rebecca's will directs that she be buried near her parents at Exeter Cathedral, the bur rec is not found in the par reg. See the will of Rebecca Salter of St. Stephen, Exeter, 13 Nov 1662, proved 24 Nov 1662, Archdeaconry Court of Exeter, abstracted in G. Andrews Moriarty, "Genealogical Research in England - Derby," NEHGR, 79(1925):413-414 (FHL #974 B2ne). The recs of this court were destroyed in 1942.
