- BIRTH: Agnes is identified in the will of her mother, widow Johan Femell of Taunton, 29 Jun 1576, proved 4 Feb 1577/8, P.C.C., 8 Langley (FHL #091957). Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR #1: A wife Agnes is identified in the will of Thomas Symonds of Taunton, 13 Oct 1572, proved 10 Jan 1572/3, P.C.C., 1 Peter (FHL #091951). Thomas's son William Symonds identified his mother as a dau of Richard Femell in correspondence with his grandnephew Sir Symonds D'Ewes, preserved in Harleian ms, #381, British Museum, cited G. Andrews Moriarty, "Genealogical Research in England - Symonds-Femell, NEHGR, 80(1926):361 (FHL #974 B4ne). The will of Agnes's mother, Johan Femell, above, mentions 4 of Johan's grandchildren, who are known children of Thomas Symonds.
MAR #2: Par reg of St. Mary Magdalene, Taunton (FHL #1526734 item 5). She is called Agnes "Calvarte," in her mother's will, above. The husband is called Nicholas Colvord on mar rec; Nicholas Calvarte in will of Johan Femell.
MAR #3: No mar rec found. Third mar is from Moriarty, "Genealogical Research," NEHGR, 80:364, apparently from Symonds D'Ewes papers.
DEATH: No death rec found. Approximate death date "about 1584" from Moriarty, "Genealogical Research," NEHGR, 80:364, from Sir Symonds D'Ewes papers. Par reg of St. Mary Magdalene, Taunton has no burials for this year; register defective.
