- BIRTH: Henry is identified in the will of his mother, widow Johan Femell of Taunton, 29 Jun 1576, proved 4 Feb 1577/8, P.C.C., 8 Langley (FHL #091957). He was living in Taunton, age 40 "or thereabouts," in deposition of 14 Nov 1566, Star Chamber Proceedings, Eliz., C, 5/34, cited in G. Andrews Moriarty, "Genealogical Research in England -Symonds-Femell," NEHGR, 80(1926):360 (FHL #974 B4ne).
MAR: Perhaps the husband of Joane, "wife of Henry Femall," who was bur at St. Mary Magdalene, Taunton, 9 Nov 1615, as indicated by Moriarty, "Genealogical Research," NEHGR, 80:369, But, if so, why "wife" and not widow?
