- BIRTH: Date of birth and father's name is from pedigree of Maximillian Mohun, grandson of Richard, drawn in 1606, cited in G. Andrews Moriarty, "Mohun (Additions and Corrections)," NEHGR, 82(1928):66-67 (FHL #974 B2ne). He is 1st of rec at Hawk church on 10 Feb 1527/8, where he appears in the court rolls of the Manor of Axminster, Devon with his sons Walter and Robert (Moriarty, "Mohun," NEHGR, 82:66-67).
