MAR: No mar rec found. She is called Sarah "Harris" in the will of her father, Samuel Rogers of New London, 20 Feb 1712/3, proved 8 Dec 1713, New London District Probate, B:51-52 (FHL #005111). Sarah "first wife of James Harris" is buried in Baker Cemetery, Montville, below. Sarah was apparently the "Wife of Lt. James Harris died age 70 years," 14 Nov 1748, recorded in "Deaths from the Diary of Joshua Hempstead [of New London]" (typescript, n.d.; New Haven Colony Historical Society, New Haven, Conn.), 37 (FHL #003028 item 4).
