DEATH: No death rec found. It is stated that Hannah died on 29 Sep 1741 in George E. McCracken, "William Buell & Early Descendants," TAG, 54(1978):73 (FHL #973 D25aga). McCracken cites East Windsor Church Records. This is not correct, however. The date cited by McCracken is the death date of Joseph Porter, husband of Hannah Buell. See photo of Joseph's gravestone in Barney E. Daley, GOD'S ACRE (1984), 124 (FHL #974.62/S3 V3d). Also note that Hannah was still living on 3 May 1743, when she petitioned the court for her dower to be set out to her. See abstract from Hartford District Probate in Charles W.
