- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Abigail is apparently one of the 12 unnamed children of Henry Kimball mentioned in the adm of estate of her brother Caleb Kimball, 30 Nov 1675, as she cannot be placed in any other Kimball family in the area (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA, 1916-20], 3:38-39 [FHL #974.45 P2p]). Date and place of birth are approximations based on family history and chronology. The family lived in Ipswich, 1646-56.
MAR: VITAL RECORDS OF ROWLEY, 2 vols. (Salem, MA, 1928-31), 1:335 (FHL #974.45/R1 V28v).
DEATH: No death rec found. Abigail was living in Newbury as late as 5 Aug 1714, when she was named in the "will" of her husband John Wicom (Essex Co. Deeds, 27:136 [FHL #866025]). The document is in the form of a deed but is essentially a will.
