It is speculated that she is Jane, dau of Thomas and Hannah (Jordan) Fowler and widow of Stephen Ford. See Mary Lovering Holman, ANCESTRY OF CHARLES STINSON PILLSBURY, 2 vols. (Privately printed, 1938), 1:74 (FHL #929.273 P646h). Stephen Ford and Jane Fowler were married at Haverhill, 24 Nov 1681 (VITAL RECORDS OF HAVERHILL, 2 vols. [Topsfield, MA, 1910-11], 2:121 [FHL #974.45/H1 V29h]). The children of Jane Ford, deceased, were legatees in the will of Thomas Fowler of Amesbury, 21 Jan 1725/6, proved 16 Oct 1727, Essex Co. Probate, (o.s.) 315:540-41 (FHL #875129).
