- BIRTH: Peter is mentioned in the will of his brother William Blossom of Great Shelford, 2 Feb 1565/6, proved 20 Feb 1565/6, Consistory Court of Ely, reg wills, P:333 (FHL #173471). This will also identifies their father as John Blossom. Date of birth is calculated from age 50 "or thereabouts" in chancery deposition, 28 Jun 1585 (C. 21/G 27/12), abstracted in John I. Coddington and Maclean W. McLean, "The Blossom Family of Cambridgeshire, England, and New England," TAG, 63(1988):71(FHL #974 D25aga).
