A wife Jane, "brother" Ammiel Weeks, and cousin Samuel Clapp of Dorchester are mentioned in the will of Benjamin Bate [of Hingham], 14 Nov 1678, proved 30 Jan 1678/9, Suffolk Co. Probate, #1042, (o.s.) 6:264 (FHL #584128). Hence, Jane, wife of Benjamin Bate, is the dau of Jane Humphrey and her first husband, George Weeks.
