Tyler is enumerated as 56 yrs old, born in Vermont in the 1850 U.S. census of Sharon, Vermont, p. 101, dwelling 180 (FHL #444929). Circumstantial evidence suggests Tyler was born in Royalton. The family of Abijah Burbank is listed in the 1790 U.S.census of Royalton, Vermont, p. 45 (FHL #568152). Also see deed from Abijah Burbank to Abijah Burbank, Jr, 17 Sep 1795, which shows Tyler's father was then living in Royalton (Royalton Deeds, B:450 [FHL #028750]).

DEATH: No death rec found. Tyler Burbank "went west about 1870," according to Charles A. Towne, "Descendants of William and Joanna (Blessing) Towne" (unpublished ms, c1939-40), no. 1-8-5-2-6-1-1 (FHL #231886). He may have died in Minnesota or Wisconsin where two of his sons lived during the early 1870s.
