MAR #1: Ibid, 2:384. This rec calls the wife Elinor Satchwell (Shattswell). It is almost certain that she is the widow of Richard Shattswell of Ipswich whose will, 16 May 1698, proved 4 Jul 1698, mentions a wife Elinor (Essex Co. Probate [o.s.], 306:31-32 [FHL #860486]). Richard Shattswell and Elinor, dau of Daniel Cheney, deceased, were married at Newbury, 17 Dec 1696 (VITAL RECORDS OF NEWBURY, 2 vols. [Salem, MA, 1911] 2:99 [FHL #974.45/N1 V28v]).
