- BIRTH: Date and place of birth are approximations. No proof has been found that Benjamin is the son of Humphrey Wythe who died at Harkstead, 19 Oct 1567, but the repetition of the name Humphrey in Benjamin's family, chronological factors, and the lack of other candidates in the area strongly suggest such a relationship.
MAR #1: No mar rec found. This mar is suggested by the fact that Benjamin had two married daughters when he wrote his will in 1601[/2]. Since Benjamin's known mar to Emme Jannings occurred in 1586, the married daughters are almost certainly from a previous mar.

MAR #3: No mar rec found. A widow Joanne is mentioned in the probate of Benjamin's will, below.
