- BIRTH: Thomas was aged 60 on death rec, below. It is suspected, however, that the age was exaggerated, as Thomas would have been over 40 yrs old when he married and would have been a servant of William Pelham at age 37 (Nathaniel B. Shurtleff, ed, RECORDS OF THE GOVERNOR AND COMPANY OF THE MASSACHUSETTS BAY, 5 vols. [Boston, 1853-54], 1:86 [FHL #974.4 N2s]). Thomas was probably closer to age 50 when he died.
MAR: No mar rec found. Children of Thomas Bartlett and wife Hannah were born in Watertown, 1636/7-1651.
DEATH: WATERTOWN RECORDS, 8 vols. (Watertown, MA, 1894-1939), 1:3:17 (FHL #974.44/W5 V28w). "Age bought 60 yeares." Also see the will of Thomas Bartlett of Watertown, 22 Apr 1653, proved 20 June 1654, Middlesex Co. Probate Files, 1st series, #1361 (FHL #386015).
