- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Sarah is identified in the will of her father, Robert Burnap of Reading, 15 Nov 1688, proved 1 Oct 1689, Middlesex Co. Probate Files, 1st series, #3608 (FHL #386046). Date and place of birth are approximations. Robert Burnap lived in Roxbury, ca 1638-52.
MAR #1: VITAL RECORDS OF SALEM, 6 vols. (Salem, MA, 1916-25), 3:168 (FHL #974.45/S1 V2e). Robert Burnap mentioned his "Southericke" grandchildren in his will, above. John Southwick died at Salem, 25 Oct 1672 (VITAL RECORDS OF SALEM, 6:241).
MAR #2: Ibid, 4:244. The wife was called "widow Sarah Southwick."
DIV: Suffolk Co. Court Files, #2236 (FHL #910786). Sarah divorced Thomas Cooper for adultery and abandonment, 2 Sep 1684.
MAR #3: Thomas W. Baldwin, comp, VITAL RECORDS OF READING (Boston, 1912), 293 (FHL #974.44/R1 V2b). The wife is called Sarah "Southerick," apparently dropping Cooper's name after her divorce. She was called Sarah Browne in the will of her father, above.
DEATH: No death rec found. Sarah was living on the date of her father's will, above.
