- BIRTH: Thomas is called the son of Thomas Burnap, Sr, in a manor court roll of Stanstead, 1533 (P.R.O. Court Rolls, 178/35). Thomas Burnap of Stanstead paid subsidy of 12d in 1545 (P.R.O. Subsidy, 121/171). Thomas was now of full age; hence, he was born ca 1524. Documents are cited in Henry Wyckoff Belknap, THE BURNAP-BURNETT GENEALOGY (Salem, MA, 1925), 3-6 (FHL #896923).
MAR: Thomas's will, below, mentions a wife Alice. The will of widow Alice Cramphorne of Stanstead Abbots, 16 May 1564, proved 23 Oct 1564, mentions dau Alice Burnap and "son" Thomas Burnap (Commissary Court of the Bishop of London [Essex & Herts Div], reg wills, 100 Kettle [FHL #094219]).
DEATH: No death/bur rec found (Stanstead Abbots par reg lost before 1678). See the will of Thomas Burnap of Stanstead Abbots, Jan 1593, proved 21 Mar 1596/7, Archdeaconry Court of Middlesex (Essex & Herts Div), reg wills, 47 Grove (FHL #094729).
