CHR: Reg of 1st Trinitarian Congregational Church of Brooklyn, Conn., 1:132 (FHL #0038110). Brooklyn parish served Pomfret and Canterbury until it became a town in 1786.
MAR: Ibid, 1:314. The mar is also recorded in Susan W. Dimock, ed, BIRTHS, BAPTISMS, MARRIAGES AND DEATHS FROM THE RECORD OF THE TOWN AND CHURCHES OF MANSFIELD, CONN. (New York, 1898), 242 (FHL #974.64/M1 V2d). The wife is called a dau of Nehemiah Cady of Pomfret in this rec. Date is given is "16" Oct 1761.
DEATH: No death rec found. Betty is mentioned as deceased in the estate distribution of her father, 28 Apr 1777. She had a child born in Pomfret as late as 1775. Hence, Betty died between 1775 and 1777.
