- BIRTH: There is no proof that Mary is a dau of Ellis Barron, but there were no other Barron families in Watertown where Mary was married in 1650, and she was the right age to fit into the family. The will of Ellis Barron of Watertown, 26 Oct 1676, proved 19 Dec 1676, mentions 7 children, but only identifies 3 by name (Middlesex Co. Probate Files, 1st series, #1291 [FHL #386014]). Three others are proved by other sources, leaving only one child of Ellis Barron unproved. There seems to be little doubt that Mary is the unidentified child. Birth date is an approximation.
