MAR: No mar rec found. The will of Thomas Hammond of Watertown, below, mentions his wife Hannah, "now with child." The will of Hannah Hammond of Watertown, widow, 19 Mar 1656, proved 8 Apr 1657, mentions her son Thomas and mother Hannah Cross, to whom she gave one half the rent of the Cross farm in Ipswich (Middlesex Co. Probate Files, 1st series, #10226 [FHL #397082]). The will of John Cross of Ipswich, 1 Nov 1650-25 Mar 1651, mentions his dau Hannah to whom he bequeathed his farm in Ipswich (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA, 1916-20], 1:125-28(FHL #974.45 P2p). Hence, Thomas Hammond married Hannah, dau of John Cross of Ipswich.
