- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Among the heirs of John Woodcock mentioned in his estate recs in Thomas Estabrook (Bristol Co. Probate, 2:37 [FHL #461882]). Thomas Estabrook and wife Sarah had children born in Swansea, Mass., 1668-76 (H. L. Peter Rounds, ed, VITAL RECORDS OF SWANSEA [Boston, 1992], 4,9,18,20 [FHL #974.485/S2 V2p]). The birth of their son John, 2 May 1668, is also recorded in James N. Arnold, ed, THE VITAL RECORDS OF REHOBOTH, 1642-1896, Providence, 1897), 607 (FHL #974.485/R1 V2a). Sarah is apparently the dau of John Woodcock. Date of birth is an approximation. She was probably born in Roxbury, where the family was living as late at 1651 (SUFFOLK DEEDS, 14 vols. [Boston, 1880-1906], 1:135,137 [FHL #974.46 R2s]).
