- BIRTH: Amos is identified in the will of his father, Nicholas Fiske of Dennington, 20 Aug 1569, proved 23 Sep 1569, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills, 23:71 (FHL #096924). He is also identified in Joseph L. Chester, ed, "Candler's Suffolk & Essex Pedigrees," ca 1655, 2 vols. (transcript, 1868-70; Norman Collection, Salford, Eng), 1:380-81 (FHL #Q942.6 D2c). Matthias Candler was a Puritan minister living in England and a Richard Fiske descendant. Date and place of birth are approximations based on date of marriage.
