- BIRTH: Isabel is identified in the will of her father, Roger Godbold of Dennington, 12 Jan 1535/6, proved 31 Oct 1536, P.C.C., 5 Grumwell (FHL #091915). She is also identified in the will of her mother, Margery Godbold of Dennington, 15 Nov 1542, proved 14 Dec 1542, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills 14:283 (FHL #096914). Isabel was the mother of 8 children by 1542, the date of her mother's will. Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR #1: The husband of Isabel is identified as Thomas Connold in the will of her mother, above. Thomas Connold is also called son-in-law in the will of Roger Godbold, 12 Jan 1535/6, proved 7 Oct 1536, P.C.C., 5 Grumwell (FHL #091915).
