- BIRTH: Margaret is identified in the will of her father, Roger Godbold of Dennington, 12 Jan 1535/6, proved 31 Oct 1536, P.C.C., 5 Grumwell (FHL #091915). She is also identified in the will of her mother, Margery Godbold of Dennington, 15 Nov 1542, proved 14 Dec 1542, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills 14:283 (FHL #096914). She had 5 children named in the will of her father in 1535. Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR: Although the 1542 will of her mother identifies her dau "Margery" as the wife of William Hullock, this is clearly an error for Margaret, as Margery is called unmarried in the will of her father in 1535, while at the same time identifying his 5 Hullock grandchildren. Margaret Hullock is also called sister in the will of Henry Godbold in 1540.
DEATH: No death/bur rec found. Margaret is not mentioned with other siblings in the will of her brother, Thomas Godbold of Dennington, 18 Nov 1557, proved 7 Mar 1559/60, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills, 19:500 (FHL #096920).
