MAR: No mar rec found. She is called Patience "Lyon" in the estate division of her father, John Farrington of Dedham, 1 Oct 1760, Suffolk Co. Probate, #12030, (o.s.) 57:235-37 (FHL #493877). Patience was apparently the wife of Obadiah Lyon. Obadiah and Patience Lyon had a dau Eunice born in Dedham, 8 Aug 1743 (Hanson, VITAL RECORDS OF DEDHAM, 1:209). Obadiah and Patience also lived in Middleborough, Mass., where they had a dau Lois born, 11 Nov 1758 (Barbara Lambert Merrick and Alice Crane Williams, eds, VITAL RECORDS OF MIDDLEBOROUGH, 2 vols. [Boston, 1986, 1990], 1:96 [FHL #974.482/M2 V29m).
DEATH: No death rec found. Patience was living on 1 Oct 1760, when she was mentioned in the estate division of her father, above.
