Moger, "Transcript of Devonshire Wills," 44 vols. (typescript, n.d.), 7:979-81 (FHL #Q942.35 S2m). Date and place of birth are approximations based on mar date and family chronology. Wills of this court were destroyed in 1942.
MAR: W. I. Leeson, ed, "Sidmouth Parish Register" (transcript, 1941; Devon & Cornwall Record Society), unpaginated (FHL #916935). The husband is called "Harden" on mar rec but "Hardie" in the wills of Charity's parents.
