- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Barnham par regs for this period are lost, and only scattered BTs have survived. George is identified in the will of his father, William Bullard of Barnham, 16 May 1610, proved 18 Jun 1610, Archdeaconry Court of Sudbury, reg wills, 43:224 (FHL #097077). Date and place of birth are approximation.
MAR #1: No mar rec found. "Mergrett wife of George Bullard" was buried at Watertown, 8 Feb 1639/40 (WATERTOWN RECORDS, 8 vols. [Watertown, MA, 1894-1939], 1:3:7 [FHL #974.44/W5 V28w]).
MAR #2: No mar rec found. "Our sister Bettrice Hall now the wife of one Georg Bullward of Watertowne" was dismissed from the church at Boston to the Watertown church, 17 Nov 1644 ("Records of Admissions in the First Church Boston, 1630 to 1687" [transcript, n.d.], 73 [FHL #856694]).
MAR #3: WATERTOWN RECORDS, 1:3:18. Wife is called "Widow Mapelhead." Her given name is deduced from a deed, George Bullard and wife Mary of Watertown to Thomas Flegg, 5 Apr 1659 (Middlesex Co. Deeds, 2:101 [FHL #554000]).
