Although recorded in Littleton, John apparently resided in neighboring Boxborough at the time of his death. See the will of John Foster of Boxborough, 21 Apr 1831, proved 18 Mar 1834, Middlesex Co. Probate Files, 1st series, #8219 (FHL #397063). John is referred to as "late of Boxborough" in probate documents.
