MAR #2: Ibid, 106. Wife is called "Mrs. Mary Capen." The division of estate of Preserved Capen of Dorchester, 21 May 1716, shows that his widow was then Mary Williams (Suffolk Co. Probate, #3156, [n.s.] 19:110-11 [FHL #594180]). The mar is also recorded in VITAL RECORDS OF ROXBURY, 2 vols. (Salem, MA, 1925-26), 2:437 (FHL #974.46/R2 V2r). It is stated, however, that the mar occurred at Dorchester.
