MAR #1: No mar rec found. See the adm of estate of Richard Lyman of Northampton, Hepzibah's 1st husband, 30 Sep 1662, which grants administration to "widdow Lyman," with "her father Thomas Ford of Windsor," John Strong, and Ensign Wilton overseers (Hampshire Co. Probate, 1:16 [FHL #879184]). The will of Hepzibah "Lyman alias Marsh" of Hadley, below, identifies her children by Richard Lyman. Hence, Hepzibah's 1st husband was Richard Lyman.
MAR #2: Northampton Vital Records, 1:95 (FHL #186161). The mar is also recorded in "Births, Marriages, and Deaths, [Hampshire] County Court," entries for Northampton, p. 20 (FHL #760648), which calls her "widow Lyman."
DEATH: [Hampshire] County Court, entries for Hadley, p. 80. She is here called "Elizabeth," wife of John Marsh, Sr. Elizabeth is clearly a clerical error, as shown by her will as "Hepzibah Lyman alias Marsh," of Hadley, 14 Apr 1677, proved 25 Mar 1684, Hampshire Co. Probate, 1:234-35 (FHL #879184).
