MAR: No mar rec found. The agreement of surviving children of Edmund Towne of Topsfield, 1 Feb 1707/10, mentions lands which had belonged to their grandfather Thomas Browning, apparently the father of Edmund's widow Mary (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA,1916-20], 2:238-40 [FHL #974.45 P2p]).
